Our Community: Celebrating The People of Antonina Poppy
2 min read.
Dreaming is the act of envisioning what has yet to exist. Besides our efforts in creative circularity, environmentalism and social transparency, what we prioritize most at Antonina Poppy is the people who allow our creative collective to exist and continue growing. Without the immense support we have received from both old friends and new acquaintances, we would not be where we are today. Our future objectives are focused solely on expanding our outreach, and we deeply value the significance of community in our journey.
One of the most defining features of Italian culture is its deep appreciation for artistry, often expressed through aperitivo gatherings in the company of those we cherish. Art and history fill the streets, accompanied by laughter, music, and light. At Antonina Poppy, we wholeheartedly embrace this tradition by consistently opening our doors to the public and taking a personal approach with each guest. In today's world, it is more important than ever to create a physical space where we can exchange ideas, invite local artisans to collaborate, and just be present together.
Every Friday evening following store hours, our team—along with owner Antonina Pawlowicz—hosts an aperitivo. During this time, we warmly invite friends and guests to visit the store, explore our collection of clothing and jewelry, and immerse themselves in the unique ambiance of the space. To us, one of the most important aspects of holding a space on Via del Porcellana is creating an atmosphere where people can comfortably experience our artistry, enjoy a drink—via our membership club—or engage in conversation, an event we pledge to continue for years to come.
Our space is continuously evolving, with new changes and improvements always on the horizon. Much of the store’s distinctive content and appearance is the result of the efforts of our owner, team members, and friends. We view it as a tapestry woven from the many helping hands that have supported and nurtured our growth.
Looking ahead, we have exciting plans for upcoming aperitivo events and community initiatives. Among the many ideas we are eager to bring to life in the coming spring and summer seasons are kaftan painting, embroidery workshops, and group coffee gatherings. On behalf of Antonina and the team, we look forward to welcoming you and hope to see you there. Until then!
Much love,
the Antonina Poppy team
